Business Analyst (Product Owner) in Solution Delivery, Łódź or Warsaw

Welcome to the Solution Delivery Competence Centre team. We add value by delivering change through common ways of working and enabling common information & reporting.

As Product Owner you’ll play a valuable role in projects with critical importance in the international finance industry. You will drive changes by developing new solutions or improving existing ones. Driving the development work within a defined product area in Solution Delivery to maximise product value that is aligned with the bank’s strategy.


  • Act as the owner on behalf of Solution delivery and Nordea for a defined product area, i.e. tools used by controllers in order to ensure that value is optimized according to product strategy
  • Ensure alignment between product development and business goals; Work closely with Product Management and other ART stakeholders
  • Be responsible for establishing and systematically maintaining a prioritised product backlog and leading the product development activities, securing continuous delivery of business values and goals
  • Solve solution related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Identify customer needs and market trends to ensure that product vision is market leading and that product development is in accordance with customer needs
  • Lead development and delivery of high quality decision making proposals to the right stakeholders, to ensure strategic alignment and enable well informed decisions
  • Build on relationships and partner up with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the value chain to effectively run development and implementation processes
  • Take ownership of needed communication to assure that we effectively reach recipients at all levels in Nordea and secure necessary input for anchoring and optimising the decision making process
  • Increase an understanding of Agile practices, new technologies opportunities and other new trends

Your experience and background:  

  • Master’s in Finance, Banking, Mathematics, IT or experience in relevant area
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in interacting with business partners in order to understand their needs
  • Experience in cooperation with solution architects
  • Experience in working with SAFe or other Agile methodologies
