About this opportunity

In AS Income and SDS we add value by ​being responsible for handling income on behalf of our customers’ assets and securities static data. As Team Leader you will play a valuable role in ​driving the development and regular deliveries for what the team is accountable for such as the process ownership of income on global assets.

We are looking for a Team Leader who has a positive and proactive attitude who takes ownership of delegated tasks with a high degree of decision-making. Our unit is running critical processes across global markets, so a high degree of compliance and awareness is required to meet clients’ satisfaction. In this position you will be working in close cooperation with various stakeholders across the bank and with external stakeholders in many different countries.

What you will be doing:

  • Drive a team of 16 team members operating on behalf of mainly Nordic clients on global markets.
  • Contribute and coordinate various projects; mandatory and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and action various ad-hoc activities as well as other improvements.
  • Supporting the Unit’s deliveries as part of the Bank’s and TCO’s strategy, for example Operational Excellence and focus on KPIs.
  • Participate actively in the leader team of AS Income and SDS
  • Drive performance and motive the team according to Nordea’s leadership guidelines

The role is based in Lodz in Poland.

Knowledge and understanding of financial instruments is an advantage, as well as basic knowledge in working with data and IT.

Your experience and background:

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferably within the area of securities
  • Interest and flair for people management, developing people skills, motivating and help people grow in their professional career
  • Excellent relationship management, maturity and strong communication skills
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Preferably Master’s degree within Economics, Mathematics, Finance, IT or similar
