As Reward Expert you will play a valuable role in our processes helping leaders in setting the right salary for the right person at the right time. Also, you will have an opportunity to influence how we design our reward processes in Nordea.

What you’ll be doing:

You will engage in all our deliverables. This will include:

Advisory & Ad-hoc salary approvals

  • Handle all salary requests incl. sparing with leaders, Reward Partners, Talent Acquisition &People Direct, reward advisory in union related topics
  • Liaise with local and cross-border reward committees & forums
  • Monitoring needed changes & providing input for Remuneration Regulation in Poland (in cooperation with legal)
  • Provide relevant salary benchmarks/analysis (in cooperation with RP).
  • Controlling submitted data/requests (e.g. when giving allowance, ad-hoc salary changes), with applicable regulations, guidelines and local Union Agreement

Year End process (Primarily Q4/Q1)

  • Support in the preparation for salary review processes (Collective Agreement (local) & Individual Contracts).
  • Providing input for salary increase indicator (%) for yearly Pay Review.
  • Perform controls and obtain relevant data from data teams to document if we are compliant with e.g. union agreements and within budget.

Governance & Controls:

  • Participate in projects to document and optimize the reward processes.
  • Design of controls to document our processes.
  • Perform and document controls.

Audit & Compliance

  • Support and follow-up on recorded issues (NORMS).
  • Help closing the issues e.g. deliver evidence from our Controls.

Ad-hoc (not exhaustive)

  • Salary Surveys: data submission, analysis of the outcome and providing recommendations
  • Union Relations (preparing analysis, participation in meetings/negotiations if requested, committee work, local processes)
  • Analysis and recommendation in Equal Pay statistics
  • Performing job mapping and collaboration with local vendor to obtain relevant benchmarks
  • Supporting local activities when reward input is required

You’ll join a dedicated team of reward professionals that want to make a difference. The role is based in Poland.

Your experience and background:  

  • Professional level of spoken and written English
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Knowledge of reward and the compliance requirements within the Financial sector would be an advantage
  • Good IT skills (Excel, SuccessFactor would be an advantage)
  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum or extensive working experience with HR processes and acts as advisor for leaders and HR personnel e.g. People Business Partners
  • Knowledge of reward and the compliance requirements within the Financial sector would be an advantage
