Software License Manager, Gdynia

We are now looking for a Software License Manager. You will be working with Software License Management across many areas and platforms but with focus on Mainframe software. You will support the software owners to guide and inform of compliancy situation and how optimization can be done. You will be responsible for recurring reporting. You will support in contractual activities e.g. Report obligations, Renewals, support negotiations etc.

The position is to cover software with focus on Mainframe and also other platforms with its related license.

  • Software License is performing reconciliation of software licenses in scope. We ensure that licenses acquired by Nordea are used efficiently across Nordea’s IT infrastructure.

  • Worked with or have knowledge of Software license management and Mainframe
  • Worked with or have knowledge of tools for software license management  
  • Strong collaboration skills combined with deep subject matter expertise
  • Understanding building block and what are required for compliancy
  • Accountable, structured, proactive and responsive
  • Professional skills in English both written and spoken

Your experience and background:

  • License experience of group of Software suppliers and Mainframe
  • Knowledgeable of the terms and conditions of the Supplier contract(s)
  • Knowledgeable of license rules and regulations such as the software entitlements and Product Use Rights  
  • Knowledgeable of the terms and conditions of the Supplier contract(s)
  • Knowledge of processes linked to Software license
  • Degree in IT Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of ITIL and SS-ISO 19770 will be an advantage
