DevOps Expert, Gdynia
We are looking for a DevOps Expert/Architect to collaborate with us on setting the strategy and driving its delivery in a hands-on and learning-friendly environment – all regarding tools for development and test, done in close cooperation with selected vendors.
We are a part of Nordea Group Technology unit and have a unique possibility to work with large enterprise tool deployments supporting 5K+ developers, 10K+ testers and 20K+ users. We are contributing in setting the direction and standards for development and test tools for all of Nordea.
In reaching our ambitious goal of having the best enterprise solution possible, we do so in close cooperation with the biggest vendors out there. Our meetings with Technical Account Managers and success teams will provide you with access to the best qualified experts in the world. Your future responsibilities
As a part of a team of DevOps Toolchain Experts you will cooperate with over a dozen colleagues in Poland and across Scandinavia. We are flexible to tailor the actual content of the job to your particular expertise but in general, as a DevOps Expert/Architect it will be your responsibility to:
- Set the strategy, continuously evaluate new and existing Development and Test Tools
- Take the role and responsibility of Solution Provider for selected parts of current DevOps Toolchain in Nordea, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and in a good shape
- Contribute in setting up the CI/CD landscape in Nordea

We imagine that you have the following skills and/or experience:
- You have experience in Enterprise Toolchain deployment (e.g. server/product installation and administration, license handling) and integration
- You have experience in System Administration/Monitoring (Linux and/or Windows)
- Scripting and automating tasks (e.g. with Ansible) are a natural part of your mindset
- You are experienced with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts and tools
- You are able to communicate fluently in English
Following would be considered as an asset:
- Good overview of current trends in CI/CD, Development/Test Tools and DevOps in general
- Experience in SAFe/Agile Ways of Working
- Developer background and/or test automation expertise
