Your future responsibilities
You’ll join the Cloud Governance Team, where we drive adoption of cloud services from organizational governance, service, risk and compliance perspective.
What you’ll be doing:
The main responsibility of Microsoft Azure Governance Engineer is to ensure that the solution design and the utilization of Nordea’s Microsoft Azure environment adheres to internal and external requirements. You will not only be in charge of defining and developing the solutions. A key part of your role will be to participate in the daily engineering and operational tasks alongside our SRE team. Hands on tasks in MS Azure will be part of your everyday responsibilities.
The role is based in Copenhagen or Gdynia.
Who you are
Your profile and background:
- You have min 3 years’ experience of working with Microsoft Azure environments from an engineering and/or architecture role
- You are skilled in Azure automation techniques - Terraform coding skills are a plus
- You have experience and knowledge across various aspects of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data management, budgeting, and governance. This role requires managing how decisions in each area affect the overall solution
- You have good understanding of Azure administration, Azure development, DevOps or SRE, and have expert-level skills in at least one of those domains
- You have worked in Financial Services industry, or another regulated industry and appreciate a working environment with focus on quality, security and compliance
- Experience from a large, international corporation is an advantage
