Test Automation Engineer in Back-End, Gdynia
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer in Back-End. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will prepare test automation approach at the team level as well as design and create high quality automated test scripts.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join QA Testing PL Team, where we increase production stability and cost efficiency when creating and deploying new solutions to our customers. One of the things we use to reach that goals is to increase efficiency in testing including test automation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Estimating test effort
- Automated testing cases design and implementing in coordination with developers, product owners and business experts
- Eliminating manual testing and trivial activities
- Testing data preparation, monitoring, debugging and documenting test results
- Proactively driving improvements to automated test coverage

Your profile and background:
- 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience
- Coding skills in Object Oriented Languages C# (preferably) / Java
- Knowledge and experience in SQL databases, (Hadoop (HIVE, HDFS) will be an asset
- Skills in data manipulation using various data formats (XML, CSV, JSON, plain text etc.)
- Data Warehousing concepts, Teradata is an advantage
- Experience in working with source code control tools (GIT) and CI tools (Jenkins/Bamboo)
- Basic knowledge of Unix-like systems, as well as understanding of Agile software development and exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills
