Your future responsibilities

Within Banking Technology, we belong to Software Engineering, which is the engine of the digital powerhouse we are starting to build. The Software Development team is responsible for uplifting the capability of all our developers in Banking Technology. Our other key responsibility is to build the teams and support the stakeholders in providing the developers with the right skills in the right locations at the right time.
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Leading a global team of developers 
  • Driving continuous improvement and best practices within the team as well as across the teams 
  • Understanding and addressing IT skills needs in the team 
  • Designing ways to uplift the team’s capability 
  • Making and implementing operational plans and setting targets for the team as well as for each employee and providing timely, well-documented feedback, coaching and performance assessments 
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with surrounding teams

Your profile and background: 
  • Educational background relevant to Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Several years of leadership experience within an IT company 
  • Professional level of English 
  • Expertise in managing networks covering both permanent employees and partners (onshore and near/offshore). 
  • Good knowledge about development in any of the technologies (Scala, Hadoop, SQL and Mainframe)  
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
