Senior Project Manager, Gdańsk

We are looking for Senior Project Manager with experience and knowledge of Project Management skills and tools. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the Wholesale banking operations tech team supporting and developing the Backoffice functions in Wholesale banking.

Your future responsibilities

You’ll join WBO Technology Programs. We are a centre of Project Managers supporting the Wholesale banking operation portfolio.  
You will be responsible for managing projects related to systems handling settlement, safekeeping, reconciliation, reporting (for example tax and MiFID) and service components used by all Wholesale banking flows solution. We have an extra responsibility supporting the Sub custody business requests. 
Your daily duties will include planning, executing and monitoring projects including quality assurance and risk management, managing budgets and submitting progress reports to stakeholders and managers. We expect you to actively demonstrate focus on business requirements and understanding of the complete value chain, and engage stakeholders through clear communication, managing their understanding, expectations and involvement. 
Most of our IT development is organised in Scrum teams. As a part of Agile environment, your role will include engaging and empowering project team members to make sure that project deliverables and goals are met.  
The role is based in Gdansk. We are a community of Projects Managers supporting each other in making our projects delivered.

Your profile and background: 
  • Flexible towards your role and responsibilities  
  • Experienced in IT Project management, delivering medium to large size projects 
  • Capable of navigating and keeping the overview across multiple stakeholders and unclear requirements 
  • Self-driven and outgoing with good networking skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written 
  • Technical background preferred 
  • Experience in IT Security will be strong asset but is not obligatory
