Head of Databases & Storage, Nordic Countries, Warsaw or Gdynia
We are looking for a Head of Databases &
Storage within Infrastructure, Common Technology. This is an opportunity
for you to manage dedicated teams responsible for our midrange enterprise
relational databases, our Big Data and analytics platforms as well as group-wide
storage and backup solutions.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join Infrastructure in Common
Technology. The
team operates several business-critical enterprise services but increasingly
looking into onboarding additional cloud-native services to improve service
offerings and ensure continued cost efficiency, thus as manager you are
expected to align initiatives within the unit with the overall digitization
ambition within Nordea and Group Technology strategy. Furthermore, as service
provider you are expected to engage with and maintain relations with internal
stakeholders and peers outside of Infrastructure.

Nordic countries or Poland (Gdynia, Warsaw). Welcome to a

Your
profile and background:
- Good and clear communication skills
- Strong leadership and technical skills
- Ability to operate on all managerial levels and feel confident to take advisory roles
- Good understanding of relational databases, NoSQL databases and Big Data technology stack
- Operational experience at enterprise scale preferably in regulated industry
- People Management and Development (across multiple locations)
- Familiar with Cloud technologies and concepts
- Deep understanding of managing risk, audit and compliance (internal and external)
- Experience in running organizational and technical transformations
- Experience in budgeting and financial management and license compliance
