IT Service Manager, Gdynia

We are looking for an IT Service Manager to look after the applications we are owning and developing and play a key role in acting as a link between development, operations and our internal stakeholders / business users. Your future responsibilities

You’ll join Application Services team within Group Data Management Office. Our recently founded team is focusing on delivering solutions around big data, data quality management and advanced data analytics & insights. Our solutions are highly complex and highly integrated to secure good user experience both to our internal and external customers.  
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Develop and follow-up our operations KPI’s to secure high-quality data and operations 
  • Propose process improvements and participate to process development 
  • Collaborate with development to secure application compliancy and high-quality change management 
  • React, investigate and collaborate in case of issues and deviations 
  • Communicate issues, provide support and training to our business stakeholders

Your profile and background: 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 
  • 2-4 years of relevant working experience 
  • Ability to grasp new technologies quickly (on high level) and ability to ask right questions 
  • Ability to grasp functional understanding and understand end-users needs 
  • Understanding of ITIL Process like Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management etc. 
  • Ability to multitask and attention to details  
Understanding or experience in working with one (or several) of the following technologies will be considered as an advantage:  
  • ETL and Datawarehouse concepts 
  • Big Data Hadoop like Kafka, SQOOP, Oozie etc 
  • SAS products like SAS CI, SAS DI, Base SAS and Macros
