Configuration Manager, Gdańsk or Warsaw
We are looking for a Configuration Manager to Data Warehousing team. This is an opportunity for you to play a key role in the development life cycle of Nordea’s largest Data Warehouse platform, Common Data Warehouse (CDW), and you will therefore be working closely to more than 20 different project teams.
Machine learning, robotics, cloud computing. We’re harnessing the power of technology to reinvent the future of banking. A digital revolution is underway – joining us puts you at the heart of it.
Working with skilled, international teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll play a part in making us truly digital. We all have a role in building the best bank that serves our customers’ changing needs – through innovative solutions, collaboration and partnering with fintechs.
Are you ready to embark on a learning journey where we lead the way and push the limits in transforming the future of banking?

You’ll join Data Warehousing, where we develop, manage, improve, test and evaluate Common Data Warehouse (CDW). CDW is a common repository for all banking book data within Nordea with users across Group Treasury, Group Capital and Group Finance as well as Retail. We are also involved in the design of solutions matching the capabilities to prioritised business challenges. Besides Data Warehousing, we are responsible for delivering the ETL development capability on the platform. Data Warehousing consists around 200 engineers in several locations (Sweden, Denmark, Poland and India). In Tricity and Warsaw we have around 40 our colleagues.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting more than 20 different project teams, running different business applications, mainly on Teradata technology
- Contributing to design and implementation of sound DevOps capabilities, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Administration of GIT repositories and feature branches
- Maintain proper version controls of deliverables across CDW
- Review and recommend improvements to existing CM process
The role is based in Poland, Gdańsk or Warsaw. Welcome to a team which is young, ambitious and just being formed in Nordea’s agile transformation.
Who you are
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the four key values that guide us in being at our best. We imagine that you enjoy learning and are excited about bringing your ideas to the table. You’re dependable, willing to speak up – even when it’s difficult – and committed to empowering others.
Your profile and background:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Configuration Manager
- Excellent scripting skills in Perl and Bash (both languages are required)
- Experienced in version control systems such as Git-Bitbucket and Github
