The offer

You’ll join Group Functions Integration (GFI) unit, where we are integrating important Group Functions systems and data in the group common system. The purpose with GFI is to allow multiple customer transaction types to be dynamically processed into consistent and reliable financial/regulatory data.
What you’ll be doing:  
  • Provide end to end testing solutions to the ongoing assigned projects which are related to big data in banking and financial domain
  • Design and automation solution or framework to automate the required features using available tools (open source / commercial)
  • Derive the functional and non-functional test scenarios for given product feature in agile development environment and store them on JIRA/Zephyr. Confluence being used for documentation
  • Executing the Big Data related features in Hadoop ecosystem and backend testing
The role is based in Gdańsk. Welcome to our engineering team, which is well-qualified and having international standard of expertise in Big Data technologies in banking and financial domain. The team consists of  Scrum Master, Developers, Tester and Business Analyst.

Your profile and background:  
  • Strong Oracle DB and SQL knowledge
  • Good Java, Git, Javascript knowledge
  • Moderate knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem such as: HUE, Elastic search, Hive, Solr
  • Experience in backend testing feature (Rest API) using Java, RestAssured, Junit, IntelliJ in Big Data environment
