Application Development, as a part of Software Engineering, is the engine of our future digital power house building the solutions that change the bank by balancing innovation with existing legacy. We create the best front-end and back-end solutions for our customers, demonstrating the right mix of quality, innovation and fun, balanced with the right cost, location, schedule and effort.
What you’ll be doing:
- Improving Banking Technology's capability, e.g.: plan and execute uplift inside your capability
- Driving continuous improvement and best practices within as well as across the teams
- Understanding and addressing IT skills needs in the team
- Making and implementing operational plans and setting targets for the team as well as for each employee
- Providing timely and well-documented feedback, coaching and performance assessment
- Handling risk issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements
- Participating in task forces and workstreams to change and improve the organisation, tools and processe
The role is based in Warsaw. We design, build and unit test (both functional and non-functional) of our systems & services towards our customers, supporting bi-modal IT: systems of engagement through agile working and systems of record through dependable working.

Your profile and background:
- Educational background relevant to Bachelors/Master's degree or the equivalent experience
- Several years of leadership experience within an IT company
- Very good level of English
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Good knowledge about application development, mainly related to Java technologies
- Strong communication skills
