Head of Global Financial & Risk Information Control, Warsaw

We are looking for a Head of Global Financial & Risk Information Control who will play a central part in establishing a new hub in Poland.

Your future responsibilities

You will play a central part in establishing and developing a hub for Global FRIC in Warsaw, both in relation to recruiting, collaboration and communication.  
What you’ll be doing:  
  • Act as the local leader for employees, depending on your background and competences, and at the same time have the functional leadership for the hub
  • Ensure to communicate the direction for Global FRIC and keep the employees in Poland updated on relevant matters  
  • Daily collaborate with the rest of the leadership team, process owners and SMEs in the rest of Global FRIC  
  • Together with the relevant people leaders help handle the recruitments to the hub as well as the on-going management and development of each employee  
  • Deploying team members across functional areas in the most optimal way; help allocating people efficiently  
  • Collaboration with the relevant leaders in Global FRIC on strategic developments
The role is based in Warsaw.

Your profile and background:
  • Proven track record as a people leader within investment banking environment – preferably experience from G-SIB/SIFI bank. Experience from global finance centres abroad is considered a strength
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in both written and spoken Polish and English
  • At least 5 years of experience with the likes of product/risk/valuation controlling & analysis and/or data controlling & analysis – including working closely with traders handling traded financial instruments. This also involves Treasury related activities such as liquidity/funding/capital management
  • Strong desire to collaborate across borders – e.g. geographical as well as organisational
  • Integral part of the position would be to assist us in building strong competences within GFRIC out of a completely new location – Poland. This involves strong collaboration with the GFRIC leadership team which this profile would naturally be a part of
