Business Analyst in Business Development Team, Łódź

We are looking for a Business Analyst to become part of a highly skilled team in a rapidly growing area, performing both regulatory and business reporting on behalf of various stakeholders within and outside Nordea. This is an opportunity for you to work together with our stakeholders, the regulatory framework owners and our IT department. You will participate in projects and programmes, but also support with analysis on ad-hoc basis.

The offer

You’ll join Group Functions Information & Reporting – Business Development Team, where we enhance common ways of working and continuously improve our processes, by having the ownership and business competence in processes and applications for Capital-, Liquidity-, Financial-, Risk- and Tax reporting.
 
What you’ll be doing:  
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements towards IT
  • Improving processes as Solution Matter Expert (SME)
  • Signing-off of functional designs and data quality tests done in projects
  • Ensuring alignment to business architecture
  • Providing end-user support to stakeholders within Group Functions and Business Areas
  • Integrating tests and supporting stakeholders in acceptance tests

Your profile and background:  
  • University degree in Economics/IT or experience in relevant area
  • Practical knowledge of analysing large dataset in relevant tools
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical thinking, result-oriented
  • High attention to details
  • Ability to work between business and IT, great communication skills
  • “Can-do” approach
  • Knowledge of SQL, Hyperion Financial Management database modelling or data warehouse and experience in banking area will be an asset
