Senior Sourcing Manager for IT Offshoring and Vendor Management, Gdynia

The offer

As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will drive and manage sourcing activities including being part of the full life time of a single contract or portfolio of contracts. 
In IT Offshoring and Vendor Management, we are responsible for managing consultant suppliers and for Nordeas offshoring concept including the Extended Delivery Centres (EDCs) in India. You will work in close cooperation with stakeholders and suppliers. Therefore, a close and sound relationship with both external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders will be a key to your success in this role. 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Leading and supporting commercial and contractual issues with internal stakeholders and vendors. 
  • Assisting and participating in IT contract negotiations. 
  • Give legal and commercial contractual advice and assistance. 
  • Assessing vendor compliance related to contractual terms and conditions. 
  • Writing and interpreting IT delivery contracts. 
  • Handling contractual disputes. 
  • Establishing and ensuring good relations with vendors and internal stakeholders. 
The role is based in Gdynia.

You are expected to keep a holistic view about Nordea’s usage of services within scope, manage a demanding and complex relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Moreover, you will deliver cost-efficient and high-quality sourcing activities. 
Your background: 
  • Master Degree or certificate within procurement, business administration, supply chain or legal. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field of IT sourcing.   
  • Working experience in a fast-paced multinational environment with a global stakeholder base. 
  • Great analytical skills, attention to details and results-oriented. 
  • Highly motivated and success driven. 
  • Best practice market knowledge within procurement strategies in area of IT. 
  • General knowledge and experience in all IT sourcing categories with deeper specialised knowledge of IT Consultant Services (Offshoring). 
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to influence external vendors. 
  • Ability to adhere to high ethical standards. 
  • Demonstrate cross-functional and cultural team work. 
  • Have a good sense of humor. 
  • Fluency in English.
