The offer

As an Application Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for Support, Maintenance, deployment and automation for a variety of applications. 
You will be working closely with members of Infrastructure, Business and Development teams you will facilitate top-notch delivery and support of services and you will proactively contribute to improved reliability of our services. Moreover, you will be involved in many different tasks from small improvements to major development programs. Therefore, you need to be a team-player with a proactive approach and be able to coach and support your colleagues.  
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Sharing, advising, and educating others on sound design principles related to reliable operations and deployment of our software.  
  • Monitoring and maximizing existing resources and maintaining system availability by managing and scheduling jobs.  
  • Providing 2nd level support to Service Desk and 3rd level support to IT-Supporters. 
  • Interacting with Database Specialist, Infrastructure Specialist, Network Specialist and Developers in all tasks related to job schedules. 
  • Leading initiatives within the team that will help us on the path of Continual Service Improvement (CSI). 
The role is based in Gdańsk. Welcome to a team where we deliver world-wide support of IBM I-Series platform and the third-party system Midas Banking System.
