The offer

 
As an Application Operation Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the Support, Maintenance, deployment and automation for a variety of applications.  
 
You will be accountable for sharing, advising, and educating others with Sound Design Principles related to reliable operations and deployment of our software. Moreover, you will be working closely with members of the Infrastructure, Business and Development teams - you will provide first class delivery and support services.   
 
You will be also leading initiatives within the team that will help us with Continual Service Improvement (CSI) process.  
In Application Operations team, we are the technical subject matter experts onin all application-related aspects of designing, testing, operating and improving IT services. You are responsible for operating the IT organization's applications and ensuring operational stability. 
 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Providing ongoing support and improvement of applications and services, 
  • Managing technical integrity, upgrades, releases and deployments of the applications, 
  • Ensuring updated application documentation in the CMDB and Knowledge Management System (KMS). 
  • Identifying candidates for with automation, and ensuring its implementation 
  • Managing relationships between business and IT peers

Your background: 
  • Great analytical skills 
  • Knowledge of banking industry, especially trading and risk domain is an advantage 
  • Operating System knowledge (Windows, Linux, Unix) 
  • ITIL and/or knowledge of processes 
  • Scripting or development knowledge will be considered as an asset
