The offer

As a Java Developer, you’ll work on modern IT solutions in different areas in the bank, but always on the IT side. You will join KYC Tool project, which is an internal Nordea system for employees to monit our clients. System gathers data about customers using forms and external systems (validation, risk calculation, screening etc.). Form configuration is being defined in XML and parsed by custom engine written in Java8 with Spring Framework.  
In Software Development, we are working on various IT projects using latest technology stack, as Java 8, Spring, Angular, ReactJS and Hadoop solutions.  
What you’ll be doing:  
  • Implementing new features (70%) – mainly backend  
  • Maintenance (20%)  
  • Meetings (10%)  
  • Unit testing  
The role is based in Gdynia, Poland. Welcome to a team Backend Applications team in Software Development department.

Your background:  
  • 3+ years of commercial experience in Java development  
  • Fluent English (spoken/written)  
  • Experience with Clean Code  
  • Work in Agile team (distributed teams)  
  • Communication skills  
  • Team Player
