The offer

As a Software Developer/Tester, you’ll be a part of one of the large transformartion project within Nordea Markets. You will be working closely with committed colleagues a in a cross-country development team consisting of highly dedicated and skilled developers and business analysts.  
In MarketDats Business Distribution, we are responsible for distributing static data for all traded instruments within Nordea. We are in a rapid change, moving away from former solutions and transitioning into a modern setup. Our main three objectives are: Stability, Scalability and Performance. On top of that we are aiming at being the most pragmatic and fast-moving unit in Nordea. We take responsibility for our solutions and stakeholders. 
The aim of the project is to establish the future platform building on state of the art technologies and concepts. We work on .NET, MS SQL servers, Python and MarkIT EDM. We strive to build top of the class solutions, building the fundament of the solution that is to be the strategic solution going forward 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Being a developer with testing focus  
  • Ensuring that our solutions are well though, adhere to the requirements and they are error-free.  
  • Working between development of new components, testing own and others code as well as bug fixing and error-hunting.  
  • Developing for the new platform, working closely with both business, other developers and external consultants as a key player in the SCRUM team. 
The role is based in Gdansk, Poland. Welcome to a team with high ambitions and very high technical standard. The team consists of 4 very skilled developers in Poland, and 4 developers in Denmark. We are pragmatic and passionate. Your background: 
  • You have finished relevant education, minimum Bachelor level. 
  • You like ensuring that developed programs are error-free and adhere to specifications 
  • You have experience in working with larger software projects or you know the ITIL process.
