Splunk Data Analyst, Gdynia/Warsaw

We are looking for a Splunk Data analyst to help maintain and extend the central logging service in Nordea, based on Splunk. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the onboarding team, ensuring that we continually extend and improve the collection of logs from both business applications and infrastructure.

The offer

You’ll join Logging and Search unit, where we provide the central services of logging and search to all other units in Nordea. We’re part of the Infrastructure organisation, managing the data centres and common services for the entire bank. We have people in all Nordic countries and Poland.
 
What you’ll be doing:
  • Performing the technical steps in onboarding log sources to Splunk
  • Working with automation, continually optimising the work process
  • Guiding our users in how to get value out of their logs
  • Helping maintain and improve the central logging infrastructure

Your profile and background:
  • Experience in working with logging and log products like Splunk or similar
  • Experience with coding and/or scripting
  • An infrastructure background and know your way around networks, servers, OS and similar
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
