Assistant Finance Officer in the General Ledger Global Production Team, Łódź

The offer

As an Assistant Finance Officer, you’ll support the Nordea’s daily & monthly accounting processes and secures end-to-end financial data integration delivering one version of the truth for the financial reporting.  
 
In General Ledger Global Production Team, which belongs to the Group Functions Information & Reporting Department, we’re responsible for providing financial data and services to meet Nordea's daily accounting & reporting within set deadlines and securing one version of the truth to all Nordea's stakeholders.  
 
Group Functions Information & Reporting (GFIR) is a rapidly growing area, performing both regulatory and business reporting on behalf of various stakeholders within Nordea. Our aim is to enhance common ways of working and being the receiving line organization of the simplification efforts in the bank.

Your background:  
  • At minimum a Bachelor’s degree, in Economics related studies (Finance or Accounting)  
  • Professional communication skills in written and spoken English  
  • Accounting and SAP experience would be an advantage but is not ‘a must’  
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel  
  • Excellent analytical abilities and a high attention to details
