The offer

 
As a Change coordinator / dispatcher, you’ll be involved in planning changes in Nordea’s IT systems. You will have a huge influence on what and when to implement in our production systems. 
 
In Hosting Service, we deploy new versions of applications, new versions of WebLogic to your hosting environment, where we host approximately 250 different Java based applications. Our middleware engines are WebLogic and WebSpere. We coordinate and implement more than 7000 changes to the environment yearly. For this we need 2 additional Change Dispatchers. 
 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Monitoring change queue, 
  • Reviewing received requests and ensuring quality and mandatory information,  
  • Collaborating with requestors to get required information, 
  • Setting up meetings and facilitating them for complex changes, 
  • Coordinating and assigning of resources to deploy the change, 
  • Helping with the change process, by being a change process expert within our team 
  • Coordinate application weekends for the team, and make it as efficient for the implementers so we save resources 
  • Setting up or attending meetings with managers, requesters or change resources to solve a complex change, if required.  
  • Creating and updating confluence support page, “how to”, documents and lazy dogs, eg. how to handle a change ticket etc.  
  • Creating and delivering change statistics. 
  • Be updated on new change process, rules etc. take educate in new change process. 
  • Attending to a task force or an escalation meeting, to support and coordinate a resource within HS for an urgent change, if required

Your background: 
  • Adapting and responding to change personality and analytical mindset 
  • Following instructions and procedures, 
  • Working with people from all over our organisation 
  • Great knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel 
  • Fluency in English  
  • Great IT knowledge or relevant IT experience and its tools and methods  
  • ITIL 3 certificated will be considered as an advantage
