Assistant Capital & Risk Analyst in GFIR, Łódź

Regulatory Reporting is a unit in Group Function Information & Reporting providing regulatory reporting services to various Group Functions as well as risk analysis and material for interim and annual reports.  
The unit operates cross Nordea Group through teams based in Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm. The main objectives are to deliver regular reports to supervisory authorities through efficient processes meeting regulatory requirements, as well as to support analysis work related to liquidity, risk and capital. 
Currently we are seeking: 
Assistant Capital & Risk Analyst 
in Group Functions Information & Reporting (GFIR) 
Workplace: Łódź 

The position we offer

Your responsibilities will include:  
  • Supporting the analysing the development of risk exposure amounts over a broad range of portfolios and risk types on a monthly basis 
  • Communicating and presenting developments in risk exposure amounts, the capital base, various liquidity metrics and the leverage ratio to management in a clear and concise way 
  • Contributing to, and collaborating with other units on, e.g. Pillar III disclosures with particular emphasis on credit risk 
  • Participating, co-ordinating and supporting Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS) across the bank 
  • Supporting different improvement initiatives within the field of regulatory reporting in collaboration with other units in GFIR 
  • Contributing in providing value-adding analysis and development work 

The qualifications you need

  • University degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or similar 
  • Fluency in English is required 
  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel 
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to details 
  • Ability to easy adapt to changes 
  • Team-player with well-developed communication and presentation skills 
  • Can do approach with passion about improvements 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and take develop appropriate action plans 
  • Experience with SQL or equivalent and knowledge of banking and accounting will be an asset
