We are looking for a structured, proactive and professional API Connect Administrator for our API Connect infrastructure platform. 
The overall goal is to ensure that we have a stable and mature environment. API Connect is used by several business areas in Nordea and the overall strategy is to support Nordea Business with IT solutions matching the business needs. 
The API Connect team is a new team that are aiming to consist two people. You will be part of a larger team consisting of several other employees, consultants and technologies (Ex. Datapower) 

The offer

The job role as API Connect Administrator is carrying various areas of responsibility and tasks within API Connect infrastructure management & operations. 
The primary task is responsibility of our API Connect infrastructure platform.  
Which includes:  
  • System maintenance and upgrades 
  • Configuration, deployments - and customization tasks 
  • Continuous system improvements 
  • Project Involvements 
  • You will be acting as 2nd and 3rd level support on API Connect infrastructure.

Your background 
It is expected that you have experience in understanding business needs and possess the necessary technical skills to maintain the API Connect infrastructure platform in cooperation with the API Connect developers & WebSphere Datapower Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance colleagues. 
For that reason, this role requires deep knowledge of the API Connect platform such as expert-level administration and problem resolution for all components of API Connect platform. 
Furthermore, we expect knowledge within: 
  • WebSphere Datapower Infrastructure & operations 
  • Security aspects related to the API Connect infrastructure. 
  • Analyzing architecture and security issues 
  • Performing advanced troubleshooting, understand the complexities of infrastructure design and maintenance 
  • General security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc.). 
  • You communicate well both orally and in writing in English.
