Group Functions Information and Reporting is a part of Business Development Competence Centre in Poland. GFIR is a unit in Nordea with the mission to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, organisation and platform. When joining GFIR, you become part of a highly skilled team in a rapidly growing area, performing both regulatory and business reporting on behalf of various stakeholders within and outside Nordea. Our aim is to enhance common ways of working and continuously improve our processes, by having the ownership and business competence in processes and applications for Capital-, Liquidity-, Financial-, Risk- and Tax reporting.   
Currently we are seeking: 
Business Intelligence & Process Specialist 
in Business Development Competence Centre (GFIR) 
Workplace: Łódź 

The position we offer

You will become a member of our Business Development Competence Centre and work in an interesting area of strategic importance to Nordea. You will join one of the CORE teams for common data warehouse in Nordea, where focus on innovation and quality are constantly put into practice and tasks range from interpretation of legal requirements coming from ECB to mapping data to relational databases.  
You will contribute with: 
  • Analysis of requirements in projects and improvements      
  • Being the business driver and sourcing & transformation expert in projects and improvements      
  • Signing off functional design and data quality tests      
  • Ensuring alignment to business architecture and business value for our stakeholders      
  • Providing end-user support to customers in Group Functions and the Business Areas      
  • Work according to agile methodology      

The qualifications you need

    • Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or experience in relevant area  
    • Fluency in English  
    • Practical knowledge of Excel  
    • Excellent analytical abilities and high attention to details  
    • Result-oriented and eager to learn quickly  
    • Ability to work between business and IT, very good communication skills  
    • Can do approach with passion about improvements  
    • Knowledge of SQL, database modelling or data warehouse and experience in banking area will be an asset  
    • Understanding for business architecture and data quality framework would be an asset  
    • Understanding for relational database modelling/ Data warehouse would be an asset  
    • Availability for business trips
