The offer

As an Oracle Middleware engineer, you’ll develop and administrate our Oracle Business Intelligence platform which we offer as a service to the different business areas. With the increasing need for Business Intelligence across the organization, you will help us design and implement complex setups in an agile way to realize the benefits of OBIEE’s technology and stay competitive.  
In our team, our goal is to provide Nordea with a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with high focus on creating reliable long-term enterprise services, platforms and frameworks that provides value for Nordea’s business areas. 
We focus on compliance and efficiency and we focus on developing both the platforms capabilities and the supporting services around them. We interact daily with colleagues of different roles, i.e. Project Manager, Developer, System Analyst, Change Manager or perhaps a Solution Architect who all are stakeholders to our services and are putting requirements toward us. We value development very high both on individual level and on team level as those are the foundation to our great services and we do that by mixing education and innovation with experience and enthusiasm.  
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Setting up environments by installing and configuring OBIEE or Weblogic software (11g, 12c) 
  • Scaling up, clustering – including capacity management and design 
  • Troubleshooting middleware bugs – oracle instances and services 
  • Configuring single sign on 
  • Participate on designing new capabilities for the platform and developing those (including performance tuning both on platform and infrastructure layers)

Your background: 
  • Oracle Weblogic Server technologies (Professional level) 
  • OBIEE, IBM BI or Microsoft BI experience or strong willingness to develop in this direction 
  • JEE (Professional level) 
  • Analysis and design (Professional level) 
  • Configuration and change management (Professional level) 
  • We see it important that you possess experience, competences or skills in the following areas: 
  • Distributed and scalable Business Critical Systems  
  • Layered network architecture and segregated environments. 
  • Excellent English (spoken and written)
