The offer

As an Optimization Data Analyst, you’ll team up with highly specialized people and collaborate with both Business and IT. You will take ownership of building high quality solutions. By utilizing your technical skills and business understanding, you’ll establish strong communication with your stakeholders.
 
In Transaction Monitoring team, we are responsible for improving Nordea’s automated transactions, monitoring solutions and the processes around them. We strongly believe that organizations have a vital responsibility towards the society’s well-being that’s why we strive to be a global leader within the field, and stay ahead of the game, by ensuring that compliance regulations are met.
 
What you’ll be doing:  
 
  • Analysis and identification of optimization possibilities for implemented scenarios  
  • Identifying and driving improvements of the current Financial Anticrime platform and processing support tools  
  • Management of data quality, mappings, and sourcing  
  • Supporting incident handling as a process specialist  
  • Improvement of processes and supporting documentations

 

The role is based in Łódź. Welcome to a team which consists of more than 20 people. We are a cross functional team working globally – for that reason you should be able to do regular travels across the Nordic countries.

You:
 
  • are communicative and used to navigate in a large organization  
  • have a proactive and positive mind-set and comfortable handling parallel tasks/projects  
  • are thorough, analytical and able to navigate in a highly complex area.  
  • are eager to learn more about the regulatory area.  
Your background:
 
  • A couple of years of relevant work experience, IT or investigation related work  
  • A Bachelor degree in a technical discipline, Business/Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics, Data analysis  
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English  
  • Advanced/intermediate Excel skills  
  • Basic SQL and VBA skills would be an asset  
  • It would be beneficial – but is not a prerequisite – if you have previous experience with AML/CTF matters, as well as experience from the banking or financial sector
