We are looking for an experienced Backup Specialist in the NetBackup and
Spectrum Protect area to join the Backup Operation team. Backup Operation Team
belongs to Technical Platform where we are more than 170 skilled technicians
and managers. Here you will work with backups in the Midrange area, done by
NetBackup and Spectrum Protect.
As a Backup Specialist, your primary tasks and responsibilities are to
secure daily production in the NetBackup and Spectrum Protect area. You will be
working with the Senior Infrastructure Operations Specialists and act as 3rd
level support for the IT Supporters, and support the Database Specialist, Network
Specialist, IT Operation Analysts and Developers in all tasks related to
installation, operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure components and/or

- Follow ups of backups, maintenance and upgrade of the Backup environment on a daily basis,
- Configuration and customization, project involvement and evaluating new equipment,
- Maintaining compliance levels with governing authorities and ensure that Nordea lives up to the stated requirements.

- Great knowledge of backup and restore area
- Experience in Installation & Configuration
- Good at performance tuning
- Able to effectively communicate global solutions ensuring continuous development and knowledge sharing
- Good at troubleshooting
- Represent the team at Design/Planning meetings
- Analyse security measures to protect the data and ensure reliability and integrity of the infrastructure, and advice others on backup solutions
- Knowing one of the following technologies will be an advantage: NetBackup, TSM, Spectrum Protect.
