The offer

As a Data Analyst in Fraud Analytics and Montitoring Configuration you will have a direct impact on our ability to stop and prevent fraud.  
Fraud Management is a centralised function that is accountable for all customer related fraud management in Nordea. Fraud Management unit is responsible for. Online fraud prevention in all customer facing touch points, including branches, machine-to-machine transactions and card fraud. Fraud management consists of over hundred colleagues from all Nordic countries and Poland. 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Writing and updating the detection and decision rules in our fraud monitoring systems in order to optimise fraud detection 
  • Using your creative and analytical skills to analyse data to find patterns that can be exploited, 
  • Automating and improving our tools and capabilties in order to optimise fraud detection using R and Python.

  • Have a Master’s degree in a quantitative field of study, 
  • Are fluent in speaking and writing English, 
  • Are curious and a quick learner, 
  • Enjoy learning about tools and technology, 
  • Can programme in R and or Python or is currently learning, 
  • Have the ability to see patterns and think abstractly.
