The offer

As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end process and ensuring compliance of performed tasks with internal and external regulations.  
In Finance and Accounting Department, we are responsible for running the books according to Polish Tax rules and International Financial Reporting Standards. As a part of Nordea Group we are also responsible for compliance with Group regulations.  
What you’ll be doing:  
  • Booking and processing documents according to Accounting and Tax regulations (especially sales invoices and asset accounting),  
  • Accounts reconciliation and month end closing activities,  
  • Monitoring sales invoicing process in terms of agreements, accounting principles, legal/fiscal requirements, cost recovered and other related issues,  
  • Active participation in the preparation of reports (internal and external stakeholders),  
  • Daily cooperation with customers,  
  • Recommending policies and procedures,  
  • Process improvements.

Your background:  
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Accountancy,  
  • University degree, preferably in: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematic or related,  
  • Knowledge of The Accounting Act, legal and tax regulations (VAT and CIT),  
  • Good PC skills with knowledge of MS Excel,  
  • English on communicative level (at least B2), both spoken and written is a must,  
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and under time pressure.
