The offer

As an experienced MQ Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll be responsible for MQ platform in Nordea. This responsibility includes: system maintenance and upgrades, configuration, customization and performance tuning tasks, continuous system improvements and project support.
 
In MQ team, we work with midrange and mainframe platforms in Nordea. We also provide guidance, the best practice advice and support to IT projects and other departments.  
 
What you’ll be doing:  
 
  • System lifecycle management activities to keep MQ infrastructure robust, resilient and vendor supported (version upgrades, patching, security baselines)  
  • Support projects and application teams to develop MQ solutions based on Nordea architecture and security standards  
  • MQ infrastructure system administration, operation and monitoring  
  • MQ infrastructure design and documentation  
  • Work closely with software vendors and external partners.  
 
We are part of Infrastructure organisation. 11 MQ team members are currently located in Denmark, Finland and Norway. We support MQ on a variety of platforms: Unix, Linux, IBM iServer, Windows, IBM Z Server, HP NonStop (Tandem).

Your background:  
 
  • Experience with MQ on multiple platforms  
  • Experience from working in a large corporate IT environment  
  • Understanding of security aspects and concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc)  
  • Experience in software and application development, tools customization and automation will be an advantage  
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
