Data modeller in the KYC Work-Stream

The Financial Crime Change Programme (FCCP) is a group-wide programme consisting of 5 different Work-Streams that are all designed to improve Nordea’s policies and processes around preventing Financial Crime. 
 
FCCP is in a phase where are looking to recruit several key people to join the programme and join Nordea on this exiting journey. One of the top priorities is to design and roll out key KYC Guidelines and technology.

This role will be located in one of our offices in Poland – Lodz, Warsaw or Tri-city.

The Data project is responsible for controlled and coordinated definition of the KYC data models and related data services.  
 
Your role will be to develop the models and where required oversee data modelling and implementation of data models.  
 
You will proactively drive the acquisition, integration, maintenance and utilization of the Nordea Group Technology data models and dictionaries. You will lead or assist with strategic initiatives related to data modeling and data governance.  
 
You will be working with and towards several change programme and business lines within Nordea. Securing all data elements have accurate business definitions and required metadata is captured. 
 

The qualifications you need

This position requires min. 7 years’ experience in leading data modelling aspects of programmes and applications in a banking environment and in setting data Policies and overseeing data aspects of projects against standards.   
 
You have a solid understanding of data controls and compliance environment within a technology environment.  
 
You have great stakeholder management skills, and are able to identify and manage important stakeholders, within different areas of Nordea, and you are able to communicate complex data technical solutions to a non-technical senior Business Stakeholder and securing business requirements will be fully understood in the IT area, in order to achieve a common understanding, building the foundation for sustainable solutions and their sign-off.  
 
PowerPoint, Visio and Excel skills are a requirement. Fluency in English is a requirement (speaking and writing).  
 
A Master in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or Management Information architecture is required for this role.
