The position we offer

The Transition Manager is a new business critical role. Key Activities resolve around working with process owners to ensure operational readiness and ensuring the integrity of the live environment is protected. Responsibilities:  
  • Work collaboratively with the Application Providers and Application owners to ensure services can be transitioned, managed, operated and supported in Early Life Support and production phases in accordance with CCIT Support strategy
  • Clearly define the Operational Service Acceptance Criteria for Early Life Support and production and guide projects to meet them
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Service Transition Process, providing support and guidance to projects to achieve successful transition of services into Production
  • Align the new or changed service with the organization requirements and business operations while ensuring minimal impact on current services
  • Build and maintain relationships with service and business owners to influence their decisions regarding the approach to the implementation of new/changed services. Ensure expectations of service levels are appropriately set and managed 
  • Ensure early engagement into projects and drive collaboration between all working teams including third party suppliers 
  • Provide leadership and direction to the CCIT  function ensuring appropriate and robust service management and review frameworks are in place   
  • Achieve consistent customer satisfaction ratings and respond appropriate to customer feedback on areas for improvement   

The qualifications you need

Expected skills cover: 
  • Transition Manager experience from large company 
  • Project management experience 
  • ITIL Certified, preferably with speciality of Service Transition (but at least ITIL Foundation) 
  • Understands Agile, Scrum SAFe  
  • Understands technology related with databases 
  • Outgoing and be able to work with several teams and coordinate the work 
  • Leadership and management skills 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Accountability and proactivity 
  • Very good level of English
