Risk & Compliance Solutions (RCS) orchestrate, implement and coordinates changes to align and augment the Risk, Compliance and Audit activities in a structured way through proactive remediation supporting the Group IT organisation. 
 
The RCS ambition is to take on complex tasks and bring them from idea phase to realisation and in parallel continuously build structures and procedures that give Nordea Group IT management excellent qualitative support.

The position we offer

As leader for employees in Group IT – RCS, you will be responsible for leading the Audit Management team as well taking a central role in build and develop a solid foundation preparing the unit for handling existing and future challenges.  
 
You will ensure that your team cooperates and perform at the highest possible level, and it’s important that you can operate on different levels of the organization. 
 
To succeed, you need to build the capabilities of the unit on the existing people, processes and tools while firmly and inspirationally leading the team performance successfully attracting new talent needed. You need to partner with other units cross GIT being able to operate fluidly in a highly complex, matrix organization.   
 
You will also be involved with 1st line work, where you will support or lead activities related to IT Audit Management as well contribute cross units in the areas of Audit, Risk- and Compliance Management.
 
You will also be leading and/or participating in activities related to:  
  • Development of high quality analyses, communication material and decision making proposals to external and internal stakeholder (including executive management)
  • Projects and/or initiatives driving the implementation of these within RCS and cross units in Group IT through efficient communication to recipients at all levels in Nordea
  • Building relationships and partner up with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the value chain to effectively run development and implementation processes
  • Responsible for seeking out trends, best practises and future developments within the sector in order to meet the Nordea business strategy, values and vision 

The qualifications you need

You have solid leadership experience, preferably from a similar area. You have superior people management skills, and knowledge of value based leadership and cross-border experience. 
 
In a rapidly changing environment, we expect that you are able to quickly pick up advanced domain knowledge and show strong interpersonal skills. 
 
In addition, we will look for the following qualifications/skills:    
  • High working capacity, solid track record and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver qualitative solutions on time
  • Excellent communication skills and find it interesting and rewarding to work in a cross boarder Nordic organisation
  • Be able to influence and show ability to influence and present ideas to senior levels
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently
  • You take on responsibilities as well as being engaged and committed being a team player where you focus on quality showing high degree of learning agility
  • Persistent with a strong drive where you are willing to take “an extra mile” if needed
  • Relevant certification such as ITIL, COBIT, CRISC, CISA etc. – will be to your advantage
As we are a truly international organisation, we expect you to be able to speak and write English at a superior level.  
A university degree or corresponding experience is considered an advantage.   
 
You will be working out of one of our offices in Poland and some traveling is expected.   
 
You will report to the Head of Risk and Compliance Solutions.
